Information about the half marathon

  • Course

The course has different surfaces. The majority of the distance is made of asphalt. Shorter passages are paved paths in parks, gravel and cobblestones.

The course is not vehicle-free. Please watch out for the traffic and follow the instructions from the race marshals.

More information regading the traffic are here.

The running course is very profiled in some passages (see elevation profile of the course). This is especially important when planning the race in terms of the time limit (including possible visits of the cultural breaks) as well as in the running pace. Times that have already been achieved on flat marathon routes are not easily realized on this course.
